Pulled by vintage Alco RS-3 #8223, board the train Saturday or Sunday and bring a camera for photos and filming of a train "run-by."

Saturday's train boards at the Geneva Yard, or Seneca Falls, Cayuga & NEW BOARDING BY REQUEST in Auburn. Stops include viewing and/or touring of original railroad depots in Seneca Falls, Village of Cayuga (tour inside now Clerk's Office and meeting room), then pass former round house and Bombardier plant in Auburn, stop at Skan Junction Depot and view model railroad layout of FGLK system. Then tour Martisco Depot and continue on to the end of our line, now in Solvay, NY, just west of Solvay Paperboard. Box lunches available. Speical thanks to guest conductors from the CNY NRHS as well as for use of the NYC locomotive mentioned above.

Sundays train boards in Geneva, Phelps or Clifton Springs. Stops include tour of Clifton Springs library (former passenger depot), and lunch layover in Shortsville at the Depot 25 Restaurant for box lunches. Railroad and baseball historical memorbilia line the walls of this quaint rail building. Just across the tracks, explore the Lehigh Valley for a moment at the Lehigh Valley Railroad Historical Society. The only one of its kind here in New York State. Although the Lehigh tracks are further north, this depot adds flavor and the reality of competition to the NYC's history.

We hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind trip. More information is available for each date - Saturday May 17 and Sunday May 18.
